What Do Your Biz Cards Say About You?

A few weeks ago I finally broke down and ordered some business cards. I used to think they were an unnecessary expense. I get handed business cards all the time, especially when I order something online. I automatically file them in my Rolodex for safekeeping, but I never paid attention to them until I got my own. I laid all the cards out, and I began to study them-the colors, the layout, the font, the information printed on them...

When I ordered my cards, all I knew was that I wanted pictures of my soaps and stuff on them somehow. I wanted whoever I gave a card to to have a picture of my product smack them right in the face! I ordered my cards from Moo. You may know Moo for making those slim, tiny, piece-of-a-business card, but they've graduated to full-sized business cards, and I couldn't be happier. I've got the badabing on the front, and the blah, blah, blah on the back. It's the best of both worlds. I now put a card in every order. When someone asks me what I do (I really hate that question), I simply give them a card, and tell them, this is not only what I do, but this is who I am.....

So, what's your take on the biz card?

For my blogs and my biz, I use "those slim, tiny, piece-of-a business cards" from Moo. I love them and they never fail to garner a second look. I also have a tiny accordion album full of the current season's collection for when people ask me what I do...it's awesome. Your cards look great, enjoy them!

I love Moo cards- totally worth the expense! I have my great model tutu shots on the front. What's great is you can personalize as many as you want, you don't have to stick with one image. The quality is awesome.

I love biz cards! If someone hands me a biz card even if I already know what it is, I automatically go and check it out online lol

But moo cards are the best! I didn't know they had the full size ones now.

And, congrats on your new cards; they look great!

T,

I hope I didn't offend you. I too have used the slimmy slim Moo cards, and I got more indifferent (I translate as negative) response from them. I thought they were cute and original, but the people just weren't feeling them. I'm glad they work for you though.

I don't leave home without them. I've actually gotten lazy about handing them out, but they are great conversation starters. I've never used moo but have heard a lot about them. What makes them soo special? will go check site now. and patrice, how have you lived without business cards? LOL

ha I see my card in that picture

I recently spent some more $ and had a better one made. I will have to send it to you :P
The one you have I just used one of vistaprints layouts cause I was being cheap!

My favorite cards were photo ones that we would make when I worked at a photo lab. Just couldn't top the high gloss and colors on those so I am sure your new cards totally rock!
