Damn, Damn, Damn!!!!

I'm channelling my inner Florida Evans here (Good Times for ya'll who don't know whom Florida Evans is!)

before

after

This fragrance behaved for 3 whole weeks while curing-no doo-doo spots or nothing, but out of nowhere, the vanilla monster reared its ugly-ass head! I added vanilla browning neutralizer, and I kept my fingers crossed for almost a month. My lemon chiffon poppy seed soap looks like somebody took a dump on it, but it smells really good. I don't know what to do with it.....

hi!! i had to chuckle at your doo-doo soap story. same thing happened to me. you can see my pretty vanilla cupcake soap on my blog. i do not have a posted pic of 'after' it turned brown marbly kaka soap, but you know what im talking about! the terrible part is that i made it hot process, so it was ready to sell/give away immediatly (had i waited for the cure as with cp, i would have caught it) and so i gave away many bars to my pastors at church, as well as sold several in a fund raiser at church! everyone thought they were so pretty! yikes! but hubby loves my soap, he said they have a pretty marble effect. so i guess it's just a matter of perspective! http://www.barrsbythebaysoaps.blogspot.com
scroll down a short ways to the cupcake soap. love your site, all your soaps rock!! :)

Put them in a clearance section and explain what happened. People love shopping the clearance items! At least you could break even.

Girl, they will still sell, shoot I'll try some. You'll give me something to blog about!

Seriously, I already have the name for a product review - but I'll save that for the review lol! So if you would like to send me a sample-HOLLA . you got my email.

Add it as a sample to your customer orders with a mini survey.

Let YOUR CUSTOMERS tell you if it's really crap for not..that's the only way you'll know for sure.

If you get an overall good review, then sell it in the Fugly Collection. Just my 2.5 cents lol;)

Great post!! to funny and educational at the same time.

I still think you can get full price for those pups... heck, soaps supposed to clean ya, right? if it does that- and it smells great to boot, they still look better than anything in the stores.

I would play it off like you planned that they are marble like

they do look pretty cool to me and if they smell good that is what really counts!

I'd buy it still! The spots give it character, hehe. I don't care so much what my soap looks like, so long as it does the job.

After reading your post about the newest batch of Damn, Damn, Damn Lemon Chiffon soap, I just had to come read about the first batch. I think your soap is cool and I know it smells good!

I see from the lastest post that it was a seller...see you just never know what someone will buy. lol It always turns out that they will buy what you don't think they will and if you think it's your best creation yet...well you may be stuck with it!

Congratulations on making fantastic soap! I will be watching to see if the latest batch of Damn, Damn, Damn Lemon Chiffon stays true color or turns black! Thanks for the informative post with lots of humor added...I needed a laugh. :)
