Project Wonderful Find: Three Fates Design

Dios mio, why am I so broke??? Every time I post, I check out my PW ads. Lately I've been stalking this blog and this shop Three Fates Design. Victoria (the owner) and I advertise on each other's blogs and we frequently "drop" via EntreCard, but I've never really taken notice of her handy work until now, and let me tell you, this gal's got skills! All of Victoria's designs are handwoven by her, and she's a self-representing artist. What's that? I didn't know either, so I looked it up as any smart person would do: Taken straight from the SRA website, "a self representing artist is someone who creates and sells their or their immediate families work. A self representing artist does not sell mass produced beads under the SRA logo." So you can be confident that you are buying a one-of-a-kind piece. Here are three from Three Fates Design that I have my eye on:

A Project Wonderful Find: FancifulForm

If you have Project Wonderful ads on your blog do you ever check out your advertisers? I do all the time, and I even buy from them! My latest discovery comes from FancifulForm. O-M-G! Her jewelry is so simplistically incredible! These pieces are made from clay and acrylic and are hand-sculpted. How freakin' talented is she?

I love really big pieces that make a statement. These flower pendants are perfect. I love the white ones.

The rings are gorgeous.

I even love the little flower studs.

If you're looking for a statement or signature piece that's gentle on your wallet but fierce in style, check out FancifulForm. I know I am!

The Copper Cauldron: Best Damn $2.00 I've Spent In Ages!

Project Wonderful really is wonderful. It's introduced me to some new shops and followers, and it's starting to off-set some of my own advertising expenses. One of my regular bidders is someone I just only discovered, The Copper Cauldron. Where have I been that I've never heard of her? Glenda The Good (I don't know her real name) has a wonderful blog and an Etsy shop. We're now following each other's blogs, and last week something caught my eye: $2.00 Grab Bags!! I am a sucker for a bargain. I don't care if it's ugly or imperfect. For $2.00 who the heck cares??? What I got was over a pound of handmade soap. I don't know what the scents are or what the main ingredients are (besides the main soaping oils), but what I do know is it's really good soap. I took a shower this morning with that big bar on the right, and I barely had to work a lather. It was that bubbly!

I like discovering new finds. I highly recommend The Copper Cauldron. One thing though: She's in the process of moving, so her shop is temporarily closed. Good stuff...Nice!!!!
