Deep-Seeded

We’re finally getting blue skies and sunshine highs, and I am so ready for warm weather! I found these soaps on my curing rack, and they’ve probably been there for about a month now. I thought this would be a watermelon-y type of soap, hence the appearance, but now it smells more like cucumber water-very spa and zen-like. Speaking of spas, I’m going to Atlantic City this summer to celebrate the last year of my 30’s (Where has the time gone? It seems like I just celebrated my 30th!). I’ll be drinkin’, gamblin’, and detoxifyin’ at one of the hotel spas. I can’t wait! This soap will carry me through til then. I couldn’t wait to try it, and this little thing really explodes with scent. With all this talk of cucumbers, I’m off to make some cucumber slices marinated in Italian dressing now…

You know watermelon was my first thought, but it does look really fresh too!

Have fun on your birthday trip!

That soap looks beautiful! I also make cucumbers in italian dressing, and it is one of my kids favorite supper side dishes.

Hmmm, sounds good. Well, you got a kind of cucumber-melon....smells like cucumber, looks like melon! I'll take some of that off your hands if you need me to :)

Thanks everyone for liking the soap! I think I may have mislead you-my birthday's not til August, but I appreciate the well-wishes all the same:)

I have a candle that smells like cucumber, so I sort of know what your soap smells like :)
I love the 'watermelon' look of this soap.

Yeah, I know. Time flies. I'm not too far behind you age-wise ;-)

Hope you have a fabulous birthday. I'll be celebrating the end of my 30's in just a few short years, although celebrating may not be the right word. That soap looks absolutely yummy.

I was surprised at how fast the 30's went by... I blinked and they were over!

40's haven't slowed down much. ::SIGH::

These are gorgeous!!! Possibly less time consuming than my interpretation of watermelon soap.

Your last year of 30s birthday celebration sounds like a great way to see that decade off. And, your soap looks great - spa scent, zen-like plus a little seeds does a body good.
