My First Wedding...Sniff...

'scuse the bad pics, took them on my iphone...

Let me tell all you Etsy sellers something: If you don't have your location listed in your profile, you could be losing money! I say that because about 25% of my sales are local, and they're big ones because the shipping is cheap, and people truly want to support local sellers and retailers. With that being said, a lovely young bride-to-be found me on Etsy last week, and we immediately struck up a dialogue. She's getting married next month, and she needed 32 soap favors for her out of town guests. No problem! And these soaps aren't just little 1 oz squares, but full-sized bars. She wanted something really eco-chic and natural, so I scented them in a very unisex, pthalate-free blend of mint & herbs and added peppermint tea leaves throughout. This soap is so light and refreshing-you know I had to save a bar for myself!

Up next...the packaging. It too will be very eco-friendly and "clean". Pics of those coming next week:)

Oh yeah, it's not too late to enter my giveaway...I'm just sayin'...you could win some fab-ass soaps!

Can't wait to see the packaging. I have my location in my Etsy but ummm I live in a very small town so it doesn't help me, lol. Glad you are getting all the locals :)

that is so cool, Patrice!
I have my location in my etsy shop, but people in my area just do not want to pay for quality handmade jewelry! I sell tons to the west coast, the southwest, the southeast, Canada, England, Germany and Australia, but only one or two sales a year in the northeast! i don't even do craft shows anymmore!!! So good to see some handmade artists are gaining support from our area!
