Coming Soon To A Computer Near You...

I have a confession to make: I'm getting so fed up with these online selling venues-all of 'em! Yeah, they're great for the instant traffic, but the fees are ridiculous, and I wonder how much of "my" traffic is diverted to other shops once they reach me. With that being said, I have decided to re-launch my own, independent website. Why? Go back to the second sentence of this post! Seriously though, I am determined to establish my brand and identity, and, I need the creative freedom to do and say what I want without having to follow someone else's rules.

Building a website from the ground up is hard work! I haven't even put it dent it yet, and I know the finished product will still be a work in progress. I wanted the site to be very clean. Here's just a peek of what's to come. My goal is to be ready to go live by Memorial Day or sooner.

Congratulations on your new venture! Websites are tons of work with all the SEO jazz which I'm still trying to get a grasp of!

I hear you on these venues. I started working on my own site too, finally. I've only been holding the domain for 4 yrs (smh). Several of the market venues I signed up with have not worked for me and over the last few days I've been closing accounts left and right. Can't wait to see your site when it goes live!

Go girl. I've looked at those sites and the fees are crazy. This way you'll have more control.

That's funny. I just started a website (again) It is hard work building one up from scratch but it's nice to have something that's just yours. Good luck! I can't wait to see it :D
