Another Sneak Peak..Yeah, Yeah, Again...

Almost all of my favorite soapers-Future Primitive, Product Body, Burnt Mill, Great Cakes Soapworks, ... have their own websites in addition to selling on a venue like Etsy or Art Fire. Why haven't I done this already? It's the best way to establish and fortify your brand, and to be the center of attention-and I like that!

So here I am bringing up the rear with mine-again. I'm so indecisive so I totally had the site re-designed with warmer colors-but I still had to have the pink of course. It's still in the rough stages (a little late for that huh?) My goal is to have this website go live on October 1st-um, that's this Friday-YIKES! So, I'll be M-I-A til then. Hopefully I can get it launched by then...fingers crossed...

Coming Soon To A Computer Near You...

I have a confession to make: I'm getting so fed up with these online selling venues-all of 'em! Yeah, they're great for the instant traffic, but the fees are ridiculous, and I wonder how much of "my" traffic is diverted to other shops once they reach me. With that being said, I have decided to re-launch my own, independent website. Why? Go back to the second sentence of this post! Seriously though, I am determined to establish my brand and identity, and, I need the creative freedom to do and say what I want without having to follow someone else's rules.

Building a website from the ground up is hard work! I haven't even put it dent it yet, and I know the finished product will still be a work in progress. I wanted the site to be very clean. Here's just a peek of what's to come. My goal is to be ready to go live by Memorial Day or sooner.
