Black Tie Affair


I love the color combo black and white-especially in soap. It's such a striking contrast, and I actually got the inspiration for these soaps from a request from a bride-to-be. She wanted some "manly" looking soaps for the men's room at her reception, and I just made these up off the cuff.

I really love the piano-looking soap. It's very "formal" and perfect for that special occasion. I haven't actually listed this one yet because I'm trying to find the right scent to match the look. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Isn't there a scent called Black Tie Affair? I thought I had seen it somewhere, but now I'm not sure where. Sorry, that's not a lot of help!

    Oh wow, how beautiful and noble soap....
    I thought about a scent of liquorice.... I don`t know, if there`s some in the US...?! Anyway herbs like aniseed and similarly; that´s what I´m thinking about smelling this soap.

    This is very creative! I have not seen black and white "graphic" soap - a great innovation.

    I know nothing about soap making or scents, but how about liquorice or anise?

    I've no idea what to make it smell like. But it makes me think of a sharp dressed man in a good suit. What smell goes with that? Awesome soap! Keep me updated when you pick a smell.
