The Soap Seduction Top Site

I'm embarrassed to reveal that I forgot that I had a Top Site. Are they still even popular? If you're not familiar with a top site, it's basically a banner listing of shops with a brief description of that shop. The goal is to rise among the rankings and be at the "top" of that top site and generate traffic to your site. The way you do that is by placing a link to that top site somewhere on your shop's pages or blog. The reader or viewer clicks that link and it takes you to the top site, and that counts as a "hit". The more hits you have, the higher you rank. Conversely, when someone visits that top site, they may see your banner and click on it to visit your shop or blog. It's all about "Hits In" and "Hits Out".

If you've got a 468x60 banner, join my top site. If you have a top site, post it in the comments, and I'll join it. Let's build something wonderful together!

Rebatched Soap Revealed

Happy Monday (or not)!

I cut the rebatched strawberry shortcake soap, and I don't think I let it set long enough because it crumbled in some areas. Here's the finished product from what I could salvage. It's like a slice of square meatloaf, but it smells so good! I had to dig in my notes to remember what I made this out of: olive, palm, and coconut oils. I'm actually liking this soap. This will be in the shop in a few weeks. I'm working on my packaging for this baby.

Whaddaya think?

The Soap Seduction Stimulus Package

I'm all about stimulating the economy. It's hard for everyone especially for the little business people like us, so I'm announcing my own stimulus package:

As long as you are a follower of my blog, you'll get 15% off your entire purchase from my ArtFire shop (less shipping) all the time, every time-even on sale items! Just mention "Follower" in the notes to seller (I'll refund the difference via PayPal or RME), and POOF, you're stimulated!
