I was looking for some Christmas graphics on my 'puter when I stumbled across an old folder. I completely forgot that I used to make candles and I mean all kinds of candles! The picture quality is horrible (I was just starting out, so cut me a break:D), but the candles are so cute. I still do a few of these around the holidays for friends and co-workers, but for the most part, I've hung up my chandler gloves. Here a few pics:
Dear Patrice, I remember the days when candles were all the rage. I think that you have a talent for making these things look so real!! I am so grateful for all of my blogging friends. Thank you and blessings, Catherine xo
Thanks everyone! These candles are literally a labor of love-only I hate hard work:)
I think if it didn't take forever to make these (I did EVERYTHING) by hand-including making the fruit pieces (using molds of course), I would probably still do them "part/full-time".
They're beautiful, Patrice! I can't believe you made all the pieces by hand!! We had a vendor at the farmer's market who made pie candles, and she told me that she bought all the embeds.
Great looking candles. Why did you stop making them? Just nosy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
your candles look really real, i had to look twice at the strawberry and chocolate !!
ReplyDeleteYour candles are so cute! If you ever decided to start making them again, I think that they would fit in really well with your shop lines/themes.

ReplyDeleteI just saw your post on twitter, so here I am! I ♥ed your shop, too!
Thanks Amy! It would literally take me hours to make one candle, so I got smart (duh) and just made all the wax pieces in bulk and used as needed...
ReplyDeleteHi Splendor! Thanks for stopping by, and I'm returning the favor:)
